Gotuit Audio - SongCatcher Compared to Napster, SongCatcher does not involve the illegal transmission of music files. Also, it doesn't hog your bandwidth and require long downloads. Most importantly, though, it's convenient. You don't have to remember and search out every song you like and go fetch it. With SongCatcher, the songs come to you—you merely sift through your Inbox and keep the ones you'd like to hear again.
SongCatcher features:

Scheduled radio recordings
Music Library
Playlist Construction Capability
"Never Again" feature (screens out unwanted songs or bands)
Save Button (lets you save a song even after hearing all or part of it)
Compatibility with existing digital jukeboxes

Sonic State Studio wav with audiocatalyst or similar and edit them in cool edit, sound forge, etc. or use the line in on your sound card and record with your wave editor (cool edit, etc) i recommend ripping because you retain the digital qaulity. using the line in jack, with cable or amp or whatever may introduce noise.

Geek.com Tips and Tricks More What's running in the background?
For an even more in-depth look at what's running in the background, go to Start-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Information.
From here you can see right down to the bottom of the well--all 16 and 32-bit applications running or modules loaded will be listed.
Turn 'em off at random and see what happens! Or, more sensibly, don't. :)
This is a good place to look because it tells you where things are loading from and what's causing them to load, so you can zero in on "mystery guests."
